My friend Sara sent me this awesome site, Stuff White People Like. I was laughing out loud when I first read it. Now it's linked over there on the right and I check it here or there.
My absolute favorite is #71 "Being the Only White Person." Bryan and I are incredibly guilty of this. I am constantly scanning restaurants to evaluate if we're cool enough to be in the know about local food. Just last weekend we went to a new Ramen place and I found myself filling with pride when there was only one other white person there. How ridiculous am I?! Even more so ridiculous when you consider I could barely understand what the waitress was saying and I had to ask how to pronounce my order. Ahh, yes, I am cultural and cool.
I wouldn't be surprised if another thing White People Like is celebrating Leap Year. Because I'm having a pretty good time treating this day as if it's special.
