Well, now that we are back in warm and humid Hawaii, it's nice to reflect back on our long weekend in chilly Spokane. After three days in quiet and cozy Davenport, we travelled back to Spokane where I feel like I basically lived the life of Bryan. Friends came over and we played video games (you would never believe it but I'm not half bad at John Madden) and ping pong (I suck bad) and board games (thankfully not Pictionary). I was shocked to realize it was almost 3am and I was still up laughing with the guys about farts, porn and whatever else. I'm turning into Bryan!
The next day we played in about three inches of fresh snow. So fun! So fun! Snow is so special. And then we visited Bryan's brother and sister-in-law's house to see their new kitchen and chat. The snow kept falling so Bryan helped his neice and nephew make a beautiful snowman that was taller than me!
We capped off the long weekend with a nice dinner at the Davenport Hotel (but don't be tricked, it's actually in Spokane) surrounded by Christmas decorations and cozy times.
It was neat to be part of a Jayne family holiday. I'm super excited to have Bryan in San Diego with us for Christmas.
