On Sunday Bryan and I headed out to a beautiful cliff area called China Walls. We grabbed some beer and chips and intended to watch the sunset. We've had some crazy weather lately due to volcanic activity on the Big Island that's made for super hazy skies.
We watched the waves roll in like this:



And watched the sun go down like this:

A pretty dramatic yet lazy Sunday afternoon.

Beautiful... that is what I miss most about living by an ocean - the sunsets!
It occurs to me that these pictures make the land feel very far away. It's the haze! In the first three pictures the land you see is less than three miles away. In the last pic Diamond Head is less than 10 miles away.
