Today is a day that should have been great. Both of my bosses are out of town. I had a Starbucks this morning, a lunch out, and an ice cream this afternoon (hey! I work out now). But somehow I'm still down. I miss my buddies and people that I 'get'.Nice folks around here but I don't know them well enough to feel comfortable. It's amazing what you take for granted sometimes. In SF there are many people who might go out of their way to put a smile on my face. I'm sure they're around here too. I just don't know them yet.
Hopefully I'll turn that frown upside down this weekend. I have state championship canoe races, a paddling party, and the intention to go boogie boarding.
