...I write my emails with "Aloha" and "Mahalo."
At first I felt like a complete impostor but it's become very natural. It's very nice in between greeting for "hi" and "dear." And feels much more heart-felt than "thanks." So I've embraced it and I use it many times daily. My work emails typically go something like this:
Aloha John,
Attached are some great ads we created. Blah, blah, blah.
Mahalo,
Jenni
I even get sneaky sometimes and use it to show people on the mainland that yes, I am in Hawaii and therefore know more about Hawaii than they do, or therefore am in a special place and they should be jealous.

I love it! When we came home from our honeymoon trip, I swore I'd use Mahalo as much as I could... but it is lost on the mainland!
