Well, things have sure changed. And maybe not so much.
This morning Bryan put our rent check in the mail. We have been screening phone calls from our landlord because we think she wants us to sign another lease for a year. Being the San Franciscans at heart that we are, we don't want to sign a lease and prefer to just go month-to-month. I don't think they do that here. But she's not going to kick us out if she keeps getting our check, right?
Since that celebratory dinner out when Bryan got invited to sing on stage, we haven't ever been back to that restaurant even though we talk about it all the time. Bryan has never called those musicians even though they offered him a contact for guitar lessons. Instead, he's taken guitar on as one of his top hobbies - practicing every night.
About two weeks ago we hiked Diamond Head again, this time with Aryn and Scott.
