Yesterday it was announced that my company is acquiring Bryan's company. We will now be working for the same company, in the same office. How's that for togetherness?
I was completely freaked out yesterday but have now calmed down. I think it will be okay. We get along fine, we won't work on the same projects, and we'll have a lot of office gossip to keep us entertained.

I think as long as one of you doesn't turn into the other's boss; it's all good. I did always like the saying, 'Don't fish off the company pier,' but that doesn't apply to you two..i say previous relationships get the free pass!!
