And so the Celebrating Begins

It's a tradition in my office that your co-workers decorate your office for your birthday. As much as there are many things I don't like about my jobs, this one thing is great! It immediately put me in a good and festive mood. It's my birthday! And they so sweetly wrote "Happy 25!" in crepe paper

Even better, my very clever co-workers created a sort of 'cake' of yogurts and sang me happy birthday. Because, as some of you know, I like yogurt. And I have a reputation for bringing a yogurt to work everyday. Somehow I have a lot of reputations at work. They tease me for eating fruit, and I think my Halloween costume surprised a number of them.

Note for the future... guava yogurt is gross.

And another clever co-worker left me a grocery back of beer - a flashback to one of my favorite images (can't create link now, check the August archive). These Hawaii kids... so clever! And I'll definitely take that beer!

And even more gifts and happy times from my co-workers... lunch, a cake and a 24"x24" snapshot of my face. Excellent... But with work birthdays like this, there's no point to taking the day off.
