Last week was packed to the brim with fun social events.
It started over the weekend with a sleep-over meets surfing event with fun girls. Monday I had a quick swim and then headed Dukes to meet my friends, including one visiting from Denver. On Tuesday we celebrated my birthday with tapas, champagne for me, and Cirque Du Soleil. Wednesday I hit the town with some work buddies to take advantage of $4 martinis - they don't taste like four dollars! On Thursday a bunch of paddling friends got together for a 60's themed murder mystery party in honor of my and a friend of mine's birthday. Then Friday Bryan and I had an old-school date night of dinner and a movie.
So! Much! Fun! I found myself thinking "this is how my life should be!" I should have social plans and friendly get-togethers all the time.
The only problem with that is it doesn't leave me time to work out, to do laundry, clean the house or pay bills. So that's what I've been doing this week.
