This past week and weekend we had Bryan's parents visiting. They spent their days at the beach while we were holed up at work but when the weekend came, we hit the road. On Saturday we lunched on the North Shore, visited a botanical garden, walked the Makapuu lookout trail, and finished up with Greek food.
The sure highlight of the day was the mom and baby whales we saw jumping and breaching along the trail. We must have watched them for 20 minutes, completely mesmerized by their movement.

No, that is my only picture of a whale. I was happy to sit and watch them rather than try to capture them digitally.
But Bryan's parents took a bunch of pics. If any of theirs are great I'll consider sharing them.
