We kicked off the day's festivities with our company's first ever Halloween party that I organized. Small but very fun. And I won a prize in the costume contest!
Then we hit Waikiki which is where Halloween really goes off. It was a rainy Halloween evening but that didn't stop us because my costume was perfect for it!
We cruised a bit, met our friend Gordon, cruised more, got a drink, met my brother and his friends, got a drink, and ran into other friends. Both Bryan's and my costumes were a complete hit. Everyone instantly knew who Bryan was and my umbrella got a lot of attention and many very great compliments. The Japanese tourists went nuts for us. We easily spent 45 minutes just posing in pictures for them. I felt like Mickey Mouse at Disneyland. I just smiled and waved. And giggled like mad. It was terrific!
We were out til midnight which is quite impressive for a couple of oldies like us.

I called Kathy to be sure she didn't miss the photo of the tourists snapping your picture - what a hoot!
Love the jellyfish idea! Seeing you in a tank top makes me REALLY jealous because here on the West Coast it was too cold for those sort of costumes:-)!!
Ella and I think you make the cutest jellyfish ever. If only she could have joined you in her lobster costume. Bryan's costume was also ingenious... too funny!
