A Weekend of Yay's

We had a terrific weekend. One of those weekends where during it you realize "this is great!" and afterwards you think "that was a great weekend!"

On Friday I met two co-workers for drinks. Yay for girl talk over drinks! I sooooo needed that.

On Saturday I skipped practice (perhaps because I had one too many drinks? Maybe.). Yay for sleeping in! Bryan went to play softball in the rain and his team almost won. Then they had beers. Yay for almost winning and celebrating with beers! I spent the day lounging around and then went to the Contemporary Art Museum. Yay for culture in a beach city! And then I walked home in the rain. Which was excellent and ideal me time.

Saturday evening we went to a friends birthday BBQ where we both had a blast and met new people. Yay for having social fun!

On Sunday my team held our regatta at Waikiki Beach. Yay for a day at the beach! And then my crew won our race in an incredible display of sport and surfing. Yay for winning! We finished the day with drinks at Dukes and more fun with friends.
