Jellies

There are jellyfish in the Ala Wai where we paddle. I hear they're harmless to us and I find them fascinating to watch.

In the morning the water is calm and the light is right so you can see them everywhere.

Also in the morning, we take out single canoes which have a rudders on them. And sometimes you can feel them go "tdunk, tdunk, tdunk" as the rudder runs into the jellies. I've heard we're not hurting them but I suppose I'll never know.

I didn't take the picture above but they do sort of look like that.

This morning I paddled with the jellies.

I hate to say it but kdunk doesn't sound good. At that time of the morning they might still be sleeping. Let's have a Starbucks first - right Bryan?
