Okay, this is too much. Yesterday I got in the car and saw a medium sized roach on the parking break handle! UGGGHHHH! Too gross! I completely freaked out. I tried to squish it but it got away and escaped to the innards of the car. It's still there! It's driving around with us! BLECH. I hate it!
I have surveyed my co-workers and they tell me that it's normal. That even the BMWs and Audis in Hawaii get roaches. That it doesn't mean I'm driving a pile of filth. But it still freaks me out. I made Bryan get bug spray and we will be de-roaching our car this weekend. And then I will have it cleaned so we don't find little dead guys belly up.

Oh MY God. Eggs? Gross. The spray doesn't kill the eggs? Why?! I am now going to google Zoro traps. We will spray and then trap. This is awful.
For the record, we've only seen four in the car in the entire year we've had it. But I didn't like this one just sitting on the parking break. Total attitude coming out of the that ugly guy.
I wish Will all the luck in the world but I hope I never need to call him.
Oh, so nice to live in Hawaii where the BMW's come with roaches!
Oh, that's absolutely terrifying!! If I were driving and saw a roach, I'd probably crash into something!!!! I'm absolutely terrified of roaches, which is one reason why I'll probably never make the move to Hawaii. :( The 1-2" roaches we get where I live in Dallas, TX are bad enough. However, I never see them anymore!! They used to run around in my neighborhood, despite it being a clean, upper-middle class neighborhood. I was always living in fear of those guys.... until house geckos took up residence in my neighborhood! We released them outdoors, and within a year, they had multiplied, and the roaches disappeared!! I never see them inside anymore, and I average seeing only 1 dead one outside every year or so. Apparently, house geckos are great for keeping roaches away. I'm not sure if they would work for the big, Hawaiian guys, but it would certainly be worth a try! They can be found in pet stores for about $10 each. Good luck with your roach problem!!!
