So nice to have a three day weekend!
I spent most of Saturday on the beach, on my cell phone catching up with friends. Bryan spent most of Saturday cleaning his room. May sound mean that I was enjoying the beach while he was cleaning but trust me, it was totally fair.
On Saturday night his sister and brother-in-law arrived in town for their "Ski Week" vacation. It is great to see them and as Scott pointed out, not much has really changed in our lives since we last saw them. We're still the same.
Sunday we hit the beach and swam around a bit. My brother Brian and his girlfriend Maiko came to met us and then we all split up for various activities... I paddled. Bryan and Scott played basketball. Everyone else napped. And in the end, we met up for pizza at our place and a trying half-game of Trivial Pursuit. Very, very fun to have multiple family members around.
On Monday we hiked Diamond Head and had intentions of going to the beach but the gale force winds sent us home pretty quickly.
Today Bryan is off sightseeing with Aryn and Scott and I'm working. That more than makes up for the beach/cleaning event on Saturday.
Hope you all enjoyed your three day weekend!

Dear Jenni and Bryan,
I am so glad that you guys are having a great time together. It is a special gathering of the siblings and significant others!!
I hope you have lots of fun!
Love,
Mary and Doug
I love it - ski week in Hawaii!!
HI Jenni... I am checking to see if this works.
Oh yay! It does. Hullo. It was great speaking to you the other day and i stumbled upon your blogspot again. Ali and I have decided to start one but I bet it won't be as interesting. Thought any more about Machu Pichhu?
Hello! I've been thinking about you a ton lately. I actually need your advice on something - I'll email you.
I don't think we can do Peru. We need to keep Asia our priority. But keep me posted on your plans and your blog. I am blog obsessed. You should try it, it makes the workday much better!
Trivial Pursuit eh? Well practice up cause when I visit, I'll take on all challengers. Oh yea, we might make a Hawaii trip in the late summer... i'll for sure keep you both in the loop!
What's this about Asia?
Did Keith win his game?
Yay Ted! Definitely keep us in the loop!! Carolyn is coming in a month.
Mom, gotta get your nephews straight. Kathy, are you reading this? Sadly, NATE's team did not win his Hawaii State High School basketball game last night. Now they're in the consolation round and play again this afternoon. We did get to see Paige's cheerleading which was adorable and very enthusiastic.
Asia is where Bryan and I want to travel to before we move back to the mainland. But he probably doesn't want me talking about it here because we haven't done a lick of planning or saving yet.
Oops - sorry NATE
