Sunday, Sunday

Today started off with a bit of excitement when I put the roach spray to use and learned what really hides in the deep dark corners of our kitchen. Bryan hopped about dousing the roaches that came out for fresh air. We had absolutely no idea the spray would DRAW THEM OUT or that so many had made themselves at home. GROSS. But now we have the power (aka spray) and have no problems using it.

The rest of the day was more relaxing and much prettier. We drove to the North Shore to take in the quiet sites and hit the beach. Along the way we passed this buoy that had washed on shore. It is completely mind-boggling that something this large and presumably permanent (hello, it's a buoy marker) could wash up on shore. So we had to take pictures. We each posed and then Bryan took advantage of the waves and pushed it back out to sea.... But it eventually washed back.

Later we stopped at Sunset Beach for a few hours and then went to Haliewa for shave ice and Thai food.

A perfect Sunday.

Oh my God! Nate's going to be in college??1 Too crazy. Nate, we would love to have you nearby. Let us prove we're your coolest cousins! ;)

I'm keeping my fingers crossed we never have to call Will for professional services, as much as I want his family to keep eating. :)

Oh yeah - the wonderful memories of living in Hawaii and fighting the roaches - I DO NOT miss that!
